小学生受講者の保護者の皆様へ
保護者各位
本年度もお子様をケンジントンにお預けいただき誠にありがとうございます。
年度始めの今、まず私たちが目指しているのは、新小学1年生や新入会者を温かく迎え入れ、子どもたちが新たな環境でリラックスし、新しいルーティンや行動、クラスの目標に楽しみながら適応できるようにサポートすること、また同時に、以前から当スクールで学んでいる受講生たちが引き続き、読解力、文法力、語彙力、作文力を高められるように指導していくことです。
これらの目標を達成するために、子どもたちが昨年学んだスキルをさらに向上させられるようカリキュラムを再構成するのに加え、実際のクラスの様子を見ながら常にカリキュラムと教材を評価し、調整しています。これは、英語力の水準を向上させ、常に変化する受講生のニーズに対応するための継続的な取り組みの一環です。
これまでのところ、今年度は非常に順調なスタートを切り、それぞれのクラスが歩みを始められたことを嬉しく思っております。しかしながら、4月上旬の欠席者数が非常に多く、計画したペースを維持し、教育目標を達成することが難しくなっていることも実情です。お子様の英語力を伸ばしていくためには、レッスンに毎週出席していただくことが非常に大切です。やむを得ない欠席の理由がない限り出席を守られるよう、ご協力をいただけますと幸いです。
当スクールでどのようなことを教えているのか、またご自身のお子様についてなど、お聞きになりたいことがある場合はいつでもご遠慮なくおっしゃってください。ご連絡をいただければいつでもお子様の学習状況についてお話させていただけますので、お気軽にお声がけください。

Dear Parents,
Thank you so much for entrusting your children to Kensington’s elementary classes for the new academic year.
In the beginning of the year our target is to welcome all our new Elementary students, make them feel comfortable and happy in their new environment and help them adjust to the routines, behaviours and targets of our classes while at the same time continue advancing the reading, grammar, vocabulary and writing skills of our returning students.
To achieve these goals, we have not only redesigned our curriculum to enhance the skills learned last year across both our Kindergarten and Elementary classes, but we also continuously assess and adjust our curriculum and teaching materials in real time. This is part of our ongoing commitment to elevate academic standards and adapt to our students' evolving needs.
So far, the year has started very smoothly, and we are pleased with the progress in our classes. However, we have noticed an increased number of absences at the beginning of April, which has presented some challenges in maintaining our planned pace and achieving our educational targets. Regular attendance is crucial for your child's success, and we kindly ask for your support in ensuring they are present unless there are compelling reasons for absence.
